  • When and where is Black Deer Festival held?
    Black Deer Festival takes place on the 14th – 16th June 2024, in the beautiful surroundings of Eridge Park, Britain's oldest deer park, located on the Kent/East Sussex border near Tunbridge Wells, 50 minutes outside of London. Address: Eridge Park, near Tunbridge Wells. Use postcode TN3 9HS and follow the Yellow Festival signage.
  • Travel Information
    Directions Use postcode TN3 9HS and then pick up the yellow AA signage to the festival. Please stop following Sat Nav once you pick up the yellow AA signage and follow the directions to the relevant entry gate. Car & Motorcycle Parking Day, weekend, and dedicated motorcycle parking is available at the festival. Save money & time when you arrive by purchasing discounted advance parking. Pick Up and Drop Off The festival pick up / drop off point is in the public car park at Red Gate. This is the point to head to if you are getting a lift or arriving by Taxi. Please do not pick up / drop off on the surrounding roads as this causes delays and is dangerous to other road users and yourself. Taxi There is a taxi rank outside Tunbridge Wells Station and costs approximately £30 to the festival site (Using postcode TN3 9HS). Taxis must use the designated Pick Up Drop Off point at Red Gate within the festival site. . Local Taxi companies: Premier Cars – 01892 535535 / 01732 757888 TW Station Cars – 01892 457979 Shuttle Bus Go green and use the Black Deer shuttle bus running between Tunbridge Wells Train Station and the festival site. Shuttle buses will operate on a loop, rather than a timetable. Ticket Prices are £6 single and £12 return, payable by card only: Thursday 13 June : 15:00 - 21:00 Friday 14 June : 09:00 - 02:00 Saturday 15 June : 09:00 - 02:00 Sunday 16 June : 09:00 - 00:30 Monday 17 June : 07:00 - 12:30 Train Tunbridge Wells railway station operates services to various London main line stations (London Bridge, Cannon Street, Waterloo East, Charing Cross) and in the other direction, to Hastings. Trains run regularly to this station and then it’s just a shuttle bus or taxi ride to the festival site. For the latest updates and live train times please check www.nationalrail.co.uk before travel. Please do not use Eridge Station as there is no access to/from the festival site. Coaches Any privately organised coaches or minibuses can only park by prior arrangement. Please contact info@blackdeerfestival.com if you wish to discuss parking for a private coach or minibus. Cycling We have bike parking facilities for people to secure their bikes near to the Box Office at Blue Gate. As with all other personal property, bikes are parked at their own risk and owners must supply their own locking devices. Please note bikes are not permitted inside the campsite or the arena.
  • When do the gates open and what are the entertainment times?
    The festival gates and campsites are open for your arrival between 9am – 9pm, so be sure to make sure you arrive within these times. The arena opens for entertainment from 11am*, so if you’re not camping you won’t be able to enter the festival arena until 11am. Live music runs from midday* until 23:00 daily, with DJ’s until 01:30 am for any late night party lovers. *For the early risers camping, our Caffe Nero stage opens from 8am Fri - Sun, with live entertainment, coffee and freshly baked croissants. If you have the Thursday camping add-on ticket, you can arrive from 4pm to get situated in the camping area.
  • What to bring
    The Essentials Ticket – If you have been sent an E-Ticket we recommend printing a copy or downloading to your phone. Mobile phone & portable battery pack Sun cream, hat & sunglasses Water bottle – Water stations are located across the festival site to refill! Payment method - Black Deer is a cashless festival so bring your credit/debit cards and/or digital cards/wallets on phones Photo ID Hand sanitiser Suitable footwear – The festival is held in open countryside Warm & wet weather clothing – pack for all weathers! If Camping remember; Tent, tent pegs & a mallet Comfy sleeping bag & roll mat or air bed to put underneath Warm clothing – It can get chilly at night! Torch Bin Bag – Help keep our home litter free! Snacks – We have a huge range of food traders, but snacks are always handy in the campsite! Coffee cup – Help us reduce the amount of single use cups used at the event Trolley – Helpful to get everything you need for your stay from the car park to your camping spot. You can purchase trolleys from outdoor and camping retailers prior to your stay.
  • Are there any prohibited items?
    For the safety & security of everyone at the festival there are specific items which you can’t bring to site. Everyone will be subject to search on each entry or exit to the Arena & Campsites and the final decision lies with security and event management. You should only bring what you can afford to lose as any items confiscated at the gate will be disposed of accordingly.
  • Can I bring camping chairs?
    The festival allows camping chairs & stools to be taken into the Arena. There’s no need to pre-register with the accessibility team, but please be aware of others around you. We do ask that you use consideration, ensuring not to place chairs where they can cause an obstruction such as in busy walkways. In the interest of safety, chairs are not permitted in undercover venues or in front of the sound desk at the main stage. We may ask you to reposition your chair, please respect our team and relocate if asked to do so.
  • What about your Alcohol Policy?
    Alcohol can only be brought into the campsite by those aged 18 and over. All alcohol must be in cans, plastic bottles or bag-in-box as no glass is allowed on site. Each person is allowed enough for personal consumption.
  • What about your drug policy?
    Black Deer has a strict policy that does not tolerate drug use. You will be searched on entry to the campsite and arena, and anyone found with illegal substances will be handed to the police. Please note that all New Psychoactive Substances including nitrous oxide are also prohibited.
  • What tickets do I need?
    Camping Tickets For the ultimate festival experience join us for the whole weekend and stay onsite. Weekend Camping Tickets – For those staying in general camping. If you are upgrading to Pre-Pitched or Fancy Camping you will need to make sure you have a Weekend Camping ticket Weekend Live In Tickets – Got a campervan, caravan or trailer tent? Why not join us in our live ins area! Camping tickets allow you to arrive from Friday 14 June 2024, but you can arrive a day earlier to settle in by purchasing a Thursday Entry upgrade. Non-Camping Tickets Camping not your thing? You can still join us in the deer park – You can purchase a Weekend No Camping ticket or a Day ticket for the Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Please note that there will be no access to the campsites, unless you have a camping ticket. VIP Tickets After some luxury including a chill-out lounge, exclusive bar, viewing platform and posh loos? Then VIP tickets giving access to the Jackson Social Area will be for you. VIP tickets are available either per day or for the whole weekend. If you purchased early bird tickets or decide to treat yourself at a later date, then you can upgrade your ticket by going to Add-Ons on our ticket page. Please note that VIP tickets do not include access to Fancy Camping & pre-pitched tents, or any accommodation. You can upgrade to Fancy Camping by or pre-pitched tents HERE Children’s Tickets We are an award-winning family festival, and everyone is welcome – no matter your age! Just remember that everyone coming to the festival must have a ticket. We offer under 18 tickets in the following age ranges: Junior – 6-17 years Old – Reduced ticket price compared to an adult. Child – 0-5 Years Old – free! Please note that you should purchase the ticket type that matches the age of the child at the time of the festival.
  • What about upgrades, add-ons, gifts and resale?
    Upgrades & Add Ons We have a range of upgrades and add on’s available to purchase including; Fancy Camping, Pre-Pitched Camping, Thursday Entry, Parking & VIP. You can upgrade your entry tickets by going to Add-Ons on our ticket page. Gift Tickets All tickets will have the name of the purchaser on them, but you may gift your ticket to a friend or family member. All tickets have a unique barcode that is scanned upon entry to the festival. Once it has been scanned that barcode number will become void meaning the ticket cannot be re-used. Resale Tickets Please be aware of touts and always purchase tickets from trusted sources. For official Black Deer Festival tickets please use our website. Please do not buy tickets from a reseller or secondary marketplaces. This includes the major sites such as Viagogo, & Stubhub. You will often pay over the price and can be left out of pocket. Tickets may not be as described, fraudulent, not be delivered or already have been used meaning you get turned away at the gate. All tickets have a unique barcode that is scanned upon entry to the festival. Once it has been scanned that barcode number will become void meaning the ticket cannot be re-used. Black Deer Festival is not responsible or liable for tickets sold through unofficial or unauthorised sellers. Ticket Outlets For official Black Deer Festival tickets please use our website. Ticket Tiers We have a set allocation of tickets at each price tier - once they sell out, we move to the next one. There is no difference apart from the price you pay - as tiers sell out the price goes up. So, buy early and you will pay less! Payment Plans Payment Plans will be available soon, however, to secure your tickets at the current tier you can Pay In Three by using PayPal. Ticket Delivery Please refer to the outlet you purchased your tickets from and contact them for further enquiries. You must contact them directly if your ticket has not arrived. Tickets usually arrive anywhere between 2 weeks and up to 3 days before the event. All ticket types will be sent as e-tickets / PDF downloads digitally (even if you have a booking confirmation that states thye will be psoted in the mail). You can print this out or show on your phone at the gate. We recommend you download your ticket to your phone in advance, due to signal levels at the festival site. Box Office We recommend you buy in advance to secure the best price and availability. If any tickets remain, they will be subject to a higher on-the-door price tier.
  • Do I need a parking pass for my vehicle?
    If you’re driving to the festival you need to purchase a parking pass for your car or motorcycle. You’ll need a Live-in Pitch pass if you intent to bring a campervan, caravan, motorhome, trailer-tent or RV.
  • Do you offer electric hook-ups?
    Yes, you can choose the option of having power when you purchase your live-in pitch pass. We don’t offer electric hook ups for your tent. If you are looking for power in your tent, then fancy camping would be your best option.
  • I’m under 18, can I buy a ticket?
    Yes, providing it’s within a transaction also purchasing an adult ticket. We offer kids and teen tickets.
  • Do I need a ticket for my baby?
    Yes, these are free of charge but must be booked alongside your adult ticket.
  • Ticket refunds & terms and conditions

  • Can I bring my dog, or other pets?
    Strictly no dogs or other pets (except guide dogs) are permitted on site for the enirity of the event. This is stipulated by the landowners due to the grounds being a deer park, wth protected animal life.

    The festival allows camping chairs & stools to be taken into the Arena. There’s no need to pre-register with the accessibility team, but please be aware of others around you. We do ask that you use consideration, ensuring not to place chairs where they can cause an obstruction such as in busy walkways. In the interest of safety, chairs are not permitted in undercover venues or in front of the sound desk at the main stage. We may ask you to reposition your chair, please respect our team and relocate if asked to do so.

Car & Motorcycle Parking Day, weekend, and dedicated motorcycle parking is available at the festival. Save money & time when you arrive by purchasing discounted advance parking. Pick Up and Drop Off The festival pick up / drop off point is in the public car park at Red Gate. This is the point to head to if you are getting a lift or arriving by Taxi.     The festival gates and campsites are open for your arrival between 9am – 9pm, so be sure to make sure you arrive within these times. The arena opens for entertainment from 11am*, so if you’re not camping you won’t be able to enter the festival arena until 11am. Live music runs from midday* until 23:00 daily, with DJ’s until 01:30 am for any late night party lovers. *For the early risers camping, our Caffe Nero stage opens from 8am Fri - Sun, with live entertainment, coffee and freshly baked croissants. If you have the Thursday camping add-on ticket, you can arrive from 4pm to get situated in the camping area.

  • Do I need a parking pass for my vehicle?
    If you’re driving to the festival you need to purchase a parking pass for your car or motorcycle. You’ll need a Live-in Pitch pass if you intent to bring a campervan, caravan, motorhome, trailer-tent or RV.
  • Do you offer electric hook-ups?
    Yes, you can choose the option of having power when you purchase your live-in pitch pass. We don’t offer electric hook ups for your tent. If you are looking for power in your tent, then fancy camping would be your best option.
  • I’m under 18, can I buy a ticket?
    Yes, providing it’s within a transaction also purchasing an adult ticket. We offer kids and teen tickets.
  • Do I need a ticket for my baby?
    Yes, these are free of charge but must be booked alongside your adult ticket.

    Strictly no dogs or other pets (except guide dogs) are permitted on site for the enirity of the event. This is stipulated by the landowners due to the grounds being a deer park, wth protected animal life.

    Black Deer Festival takes place on the 14th – 16th June 2024, in the beautiful surroundings of Eridge Park, Britain's oldest deer park, located on the Kent/East Sussex border near Tunbridge Wells, 50 minutes outside of London. Address: Eridge Park, near Tunbridge Wells. Use postcode TN3 9HS and follow the Yellow Festival signage.
  • Travel Information
    Directions Use postcode TN3 9HS and then pick up the yellow AA signage to the festival. Please stop following Sat Nav once you pick up the yellow AA signage and follow the directions to the relevant entry gate. Car & Motorcycle Parking Day, weekend, and dedicated motorcycle parking is available at the festival. Save money & time when you arrive by purchasing discounted advance parking. Pick Up and Drop Off The festival pick up / drop off point is in the public car park at Red Gate. This is the point to head to if you are getting a lift or arriving by Taxi. Please do not pick up / drop off on the surrounding roads as this causes delays and is dangerous to other road users and yourself. Taxi There is a taxi rank outside Tunbridge Wells Station and costs approximately £30 to the festival site (Using postcode TN3 9HS). Taxis must use the designated Pick Up Drop Off point at Red Gate within the festival site. . Local Taxi companies: Premier Cars – 01892 535535 / 01732 757888 TW Station Cars – 01892 457979 Shuttle Bus Go green and use the Black Deer shuttle bus running between Tunbridge Wells Train Station and the festival site. Shuttle buses will operate on a loop, rather than a timetable. Ticket Prices are £6 single and £12 return, payable by card only: Thursday 13 June : 15:00 - 21:00 Friday 14 June : 09:00 - 02:00 Saturday 15 June : 09:00 - 02:00 Sunday 16 June : 09:00 - 00:30 Monday 17 June : 07:00 - 12:30 Train Tunbridge Wells railway station operates services to various London main line stations (London Bridge, Cannon Street, Waterloo East, Charing Cross) and in the other direction, to Hastings. Trains run regularly to this station and then it’s just a shuttle bus or taxi ride to the festival site. For the latest updates and live train times please check www.nationalrail.co.uk before travel. Please do not use Eridge Station as there is no access to/from the festival site. Coaches Any privately organised coaches or minibuses can only park by prior arrangement. Please contact info@blackdeerfestival.com if you wish to discuss parking for a private coach or minibus. Cycling We have bike parking facilities for people to secure their bikes near to the Box Office at Blue Gate. As with all other personal property, bikes are parked at their own risk and owners must supply their own locking devices. Please note bikes are not permitted inside the campsite or the arena.
  • When do the gates open and what are the entertainment times?
    The festival gates and campsites are open for your arrival between 9am – 9pm, so be sure to make sure you arrive within these times. The arena opens for entertainment from 11am*, so if you’re not camping you won’t be able to enter the festival arena until 11am. Live music runs from midday* until 23:00 daily, with DJ’s until 01:30 am for any late night party lovers. *For the early risers camping, our Caffe Nero stage opens from 8am Fri - Sun, with live entertainment, coffee and freshly baked croissants. If you have the Thursday camping add-on ticket, you can arrive from 4pm to get situated in the camping area.

    The Essentials Ticket – If you have been sent an E-Ticket we recommend printing a copy or downloading to your phone. Mobile phone & portable battery pack Sun cream, hat & sunglasses Water bottle – Water stations are located across the festival site to refill! Payment method - Black Deer is a cashless festival so bring your credit/debit cards and/or digital cards/wallets on phones Photo ID Hand sanitiser Suitable footwear – The festival is held in open countryside Warm & wet weather clothing – pack for all weathers! If Camping remember; Tent, tent pegs & a mallet Comfy sleeping bag & roll mat or air bed to put underneath Warm clothing – It can get chilly at night! Torch Bin Bag – Help keep our home litter free! Snacks – We have a huge range of food traders, but snacks are always handy in the campsite! Coffee cup – Help us reduce the amount of single use cups used at the event Trolley – Helpful to get everything you need for your stay from the car park to your camping spot. You can purchase trolleys from outdoor and camping retailers prior to your stay.
  • Are there any prohibited items?
    For the safety & security of everyone at the festival there are specific items which you can’t bring to site. Everyone will be subject to search on each entry or exit to the Arena & Campsites and the final decision lies with security and event management. You should only bring what you can afford to lose as any items confiscated at the gate will be disposed of accordingly.
  • Can I bring camping chairs?
    The festival allows camping chairs & stools to be taken into the Arena. There’s no need to pre-register with the accessibility team, but please be aware of others around you. We do ask that you use consideration, ensuring not to place chairs where they can cause an obstruction such as in busy walkways. In the interest of safety, chairs are not permitted in undercover venues or in front of the sound desk at the main stage. We may ask you to reposition your chair, please respect our team and relocate if asked to do so.
  • What about your Alcohol Policy?
    Alcohol can only be brought into the campsite by those aged 18 and over. All alcohol must be in cans, plastic bottles or bag-in-box as no glass is allowed on site. Each person is allowed enough for personal consumption.
  • What about your drug policy?
    Black Deer has a strict policy that does not tolerate drug use. You will be searched on entry to the campsite and arena, and anyone found with illegal substances will be handed to the police. Please note that all New Psychoactive Substances including nitrous oxide are also prohibited.
  • What tickets do I need?
    Camping Tickets For the ultimate festival experience join us for the whole weekend and stay onsite. Weekend Camping Tickets – For those staying in general camping. If you are upgrading to Pre-Pitched or Fancy Camping you will need to make sure you have a Weekend Camping ticket Weekend Live In Tickets – Got a campervan, caravan or trailer tent? Why not join us in our live ins area! Camping tickets allow you to arrive from Friday 14 June 2024, but you can arrive a day earlier to settle in by purchasing a Thursday Entry upgrade. Non-Camping Tickets Camping not your thing? You can still join us in the deer park – You can purchase a Weekend No Camping ticket or a Day ticket for the Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Please note that there will be no access to the campsites, unless you have a camping ticket. VIP Tickets After some luxury including a chill-out lounge, exclusive bar, viewing platform and posh loos? Then VIP tickets giving access to the Jackson Social Area will be for you. VIP tickets are available either per day or for the whole weekend. If you purchased early bird tickets or decide to treat yourself at a later date, then you can upgrade your ticket by going to Add-Ons on our ticket page. Please note that VIP tickets do not include access to Fancy Camping & pre-pitched tents, or any accommodation. Gift Tickets All tickets will have the name of the purchaser on them, but you may gift your ticket to a friend or family member. All tickets have a unique barcode that is scanned upon entry to the festival. Once it has been scanned that barcode number will become void meaning the ticket cannot be re-used.
