Ann Liu Cannon is a musician and songwriter, dabbling in folk revival, blues, jazz, and a distinctive production and song writing style. From a background of classical music, musical theatre, and a love of literature, Ann started singing her stories after teaching herself the guitar and piano. Her debut single, ‘Stranger in the Rain’, produced by Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Tom Jones, Laura Marling) and released by indie label and venue Spiritual Records (Ferris & Sylvester, Jade Bird, Jack Broadbent) is out now. Ann says she draws the most inspiration from late Talking Heads albums, Joanna Newsom, and Sufjan Stevens. She is in the process of recording her debut album with Ethan.
