FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Foreign Affairs is the musical collaboration of brothers Adam and Lawrence Purnell, who began writing together in their early teens before Adam relocated to Brussels to study guitar. The move did not halt their progress, with writing sessions over Skype maintaining their productivity and the long-distance partnership providing the inspiration for their name.

On Adam’s return to the UK the duo released their first single, ‘Sell My Soul’, which received both local and national BBC radio play, and in December of 2018 the band released their first EP The Old Fire Station. The record was the culmination on their journey to date, the sounds, sights and experiences that the duo have shared. The EP received widespread critical acclaim and was followed by a 22-date European tour with Grammy-nominated artist Larkin Poe.
